Mission
Comprehensive Health Education at the high school teaches students the fundamental health concepts and skills to provide them with the knowledge necessary to empower them to change unhealthy attitudes and behaviors using guidelines set by the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
At the high school Comprehensive Health Education is a collaboration of the components of Health Education, Physical Education and Family and Consumer Science Education.

Common Unit Expectations
Wellness is an important and integral part of Drury High School curriculum. The goal of the program is to educate the students so they can achieve a total lifestyle that promotes wellness. Students are presented with the knowledge necessary to make positive decisions and be responsible for their own health. Our Curriculum is designed to enhance the mental, physical and social skills of every student.
Our objective is to integrate and unify the Health, Physical Education and Family Consumer Science programs to meet and complement the Massachusetts Comprehensive Curriculum Frameworks in our efforts to help students develop positive lifelong habits towards wellness.
